Ashumali

Welcome to the world of Sachindeep Singh a self-trained artist who uses the pseudonym “Ashumali” for his creative side .

A dentist by profession but an artist by passion, Sachin hails from the ancient city of Prayag and has imbibed its vibrant, spiritually conscious heritage since childhood. He draws his inspiration from nature and has produced uniquely personal and intense artworks. His favourite mediums are charcoals, watercolors and oils. He has been working in the medium watercolors since 7 years now, extensively using warmer tones.

Like most of the artists, he follows his muse depicting mainly the urban landscapes, emphasising on architectural landmarks and the humdrum of citylife, these artworks being immensely inspired from the places that he has visited or wishes to travel to.

Other motifs that he loves to work on are waterbodies and boats. In all his works the attempt is to capture the vibe and the play of light! The style is highly impressionist and drawing audience in perceiving the painting in their own experience of the place.

He is a member of The Watercolor Society of India and The International Watercolor society. He has held solo and group exhibitions, winning numerous awards along the way.
